2. EV NEWS: THE SUNDAY TIMES DRIVING

Fiat has said “more needs to be done” by the UK government if it wants to achieve its target of 80 per cent of new car sales being electric vehicles by 2030, and renewed calls to reinstate the plug-in car grant for private buyers. Last month, the millionth electric car was registered in the UK, and EV sales were up 21 per cent year-on-year, according to official registration figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

3. EV TIP: GET SOME CHARGE CARDS

Get some charge cards (like Electroverse) so you can get some cheaper charging and so you have an alternative to your debit or credit card. Equally try and charge at some chargers near your house just incase you ever need to charge away from home unexpectedly. Thanks to Alex from Women Drive Electric UK Facebook Group

5. EV REVIEW: CAR MAGAZINE

Porsche Macan

While it might follow the trail blazed by the Taycan in 2019, the new Macan must replace a petrol-only predecessor whose circa-90,000 units per year came an extremely close second to the Cayenne in 2023.
