Hello EV people, it is your favourite time of the week! EV Tuesday is here for your enjoyment.
Each week, we spend some time finding an excellent selection of tips, tools and link we hope you find useful. This week we have a good choice, as well as a little bit of information about us here at EV Cables.

2. EV NEWS: BBC NEWS
Electric vehicle (EV) drivers in Swindon look set to benefit from funding to install up to 600 charging points in residential areas. Swindon Borough Council has received a grant of £2.3m from the government's Local Electric Infrastructure fund. This means a year from now it should be easier for residents to have access to charging points for cars and vans.
3. EV TIP: DRIVING STYLE
Does my driving style affect range? Just like a petrol or diesel car, smoother driving is more efficient. If you accelerate hard and brake a lot you’ll use more power than if you accelerate gently and let the car’s regenerative braking slow you down. And as with petrol or diesel, higher speeds also use more power, so driving faster is less efficient.
Other factors have an effect, too. Batteries are less efficient when they’re cold, while hilly journeys use more energy than flat ones.

5. EV REVIEW: CAR BUYER
Polestar 4
Polestar 4: Polestar has revealed UK pricing and specs for its coupe SUV, with the first deliveries expected in August. Polestar is set to expand its range of electric cars in the UK with the introduction of the new Polestar 4.
The Swedish car maker has announced pricing for the new coupe SUV, with entry-level models starting from £59,990, rising to £66,990 for the dual-motor variant.
